The size for the trash is perfect so it's not too heavy and not too smelly. The wide opening means less crumbs and spillage when putting waste in the trash. Can't really beat a 3-in-1 trashcan.

Push lever and lid softly opens. Heavy-duty, black plastic lid. The latch seems secure.

Compost bin and lid hangs inside the top bucket and can be removed to my sink or countertop to catch peels and food scraps. The compost bin is under 1 gal so needs frequent emptying but no problem.

It’s my fave amazon buy, which means a lot! Easy to take out and empty. Easy to rinse out either with my garden hose or with my kitchen sink sprayer. It's easy to move to sweep/mop underneath.

While i love the functionality of this trash can, the quality and longevity just isn't there. Obnoxious for a 200$ trashcan and their customer service is useless.

The build quality of this item is extremely low. Customer service is the worst part of this whole purchase due to who they hire at their company. Let's fix it, let's make it right, we have a 10 year warranty!

The plastic tabs are thin and broke, allowing the hinge wires to unwind, completely disconnecting the spring from the lid. It cannot even be forced fully open.
