Awg wire is less voltage drop than with the 14 awg cigarette lighter cord. They have settings in the unit to compensate for low amperage scenarios. To lift the cooler straight up when standing astride it they work fine.
This product is amazing and lives up to the hype. Thank you joytutus for making an amazing product at an affordable cost.
Bought this to test out a fridge before committing to a dometic or an arb. I am satisfied with cost versus value of this unit.
Cons
Worked great for 3 days then did some random beeping and now won’t power on. If you want something that lasts with continuous use, go with another brand or model. Only lasted roughly 2-3 months.
The product cannot be cooled below 34°f. It cools pretty quickly, but it seems to stay consistently below freezing. Everything freezes no matter what temperature i set it at.
