Pros
Some of my kiddos are pickers so the original foam piece did not last long. While this is not padded and therefore not quite as comfortable as the part it replaced; the value is better and seems like it will last much longer.
This product is better than the oem part because there is no padding, and it will never come apart. The black compliments the grey interior better than original imo. Alot of people think its the factory one but it isnt!
Removing the old plastic was a bit of a task. Followed youtube video to un-install old one. Peel the old one off. Push old snaps down with a screwdriver. Line new one up and snap into place.
The fit and function are perfect. It’s just the feel and the aesthetics. It fit perfect but the thickness (i guess there is no foam) wasn't so great.
For such an inexpensive repair, this product makes a huge cosmetic impact to my truck. Direct replacement for the eom, and better quality. Improves the console appearance.

Removing the underlying plastic piece and tabs is the worst part, but the product snaps right in afterward.

Once you get the white plastic piece under the old one out of the way this installs in seconds .
Competitiveness
I sprayed a coat of plasti-dip on mine to give the hard plastic a non-slip surface.
I have a 04 f-150 and it fit perfect.

This does leave bits of plastic inside the console that may rattle around when moved but this doesn’t bother me as much as the eye sore of the peeling warped oem piece
