If you tip the coin holder upside down, the lid opens right up and just dangles there. It just seems super cheaply made. On 1 item of 2 arrived broken.

This is perfect for what i need: i wanted a coin dispenser for my car and it works well

Not particularly sturdy but it does work to keep loose change corralled in my car.

It's still serves its purpose becuz i wasn't going to use the lid anyway as it would just rattle, loose fit
