Ive had to piece meal these mirrors together before and this design is very similar to the way i built them with the exception of the weird looking notched flap attached to the top of the screw threads

I aint loosening no screw that holds a door hinge to the vehicle so ill probably just drill out the notched part make it bigger so it fits over the screw and rests against the surface of the hinge plate
