Pros

For a control i have a plain old steel kitchen knife, which quickly darkened and started rusting in the same time period. These are well made (stamped ss) barrel bolts. Nice heavy duty stainless steel latches.


Cons

As others have commented they just slide back and forth. This appears to be false adverting. The latches have no way to lock in the closed position.

    Be advised that unlike some other designs when the slide is in the latched position there is no slot to drop the handle into so in some applications it could jiggle out and allow the door to open

    Note in the picture that there isnt a notch to hold the barrel in the locked or unlocked position
