Quality

I am very happy with the reslults.

These are basically the same style and quality as the larger cabinet magnets i purchased before and they work as well also.

I'll be installing the 2nd one, at the top, (like i should have with the 1st one) soon!

My only comment is that the metal plate is rather narrow and requires precise installation in order to maximize contact with the magnet.

Packaging/appearance

Our cabinet doors are white laminate over fiberboard.

It's got a bit stronger hold and the metal, i hope, will last longer the the original plastic.

Competitiveness

One not so bad so i could have used a 20lb latch but the other was bowed out about a half inch at the bottom.

It is stronger than necessary, but i didn't want to take chances on a smaller 20lb magnet.
