I have never liked using extenders simply because it felt cheap and having worked in av and it for many years using extenders usually means that the signal is somehow coloured or lessened by going through one

Nevertheless buying a 10 metre cable when you have 2 x 5 metre cables is a bit pointless particularly if its just to hook up a laptop from your soft to the tv or to do a one off at parties

If i had to be hyper critical of the picture quality its never going to be the same as a single high speed cable but we are talking about an inexpensive adapter
