Braided cable also adds to sturdiness of the cable. Other cables i purchased before tend to either short out or break where the cable meets the connector. The braided heft and wider (vs usb 2. Has stronger aluminum connectors.

The cord is usb c to c connection & can handle fast data transfer. Caps out my raid cabinets communication speed with spindle hard drives. Transferred it to my desktop computer in less than 3 seconds!

Cons

The wiring inside is either made to usb 2. Or around 900-ish. It's connected directly to my thunderbolt 3 port, with no hub, so there is no reason it should be running so slow.
