The cables are well built and there was no issue at all with their performance.

It only takes a few months to a year at most for the cable to tear, exposing the wires - usually on the plug that goes into the phone.

I've been through at least half a dozen charging cables for my phone - most of them samsung or apple brand.

What i'm finding is more and more companies are using the micro b style connectors with their drives.

Both have slightly faster transfer speeds than the (much longer) cords that came with the drives.
