Pros

Used in static open desk environment while sitting - never constrained, bend, or jammed in the pouch or pocket. Sound quality is clear—no crackles or static.

Connects iphone lightning jack to earphones with volume control and microphone functionality. Also can wire-connect iphone to stereo speakers using aux-in jacks.

Price is a little high, but you get durable adapter designed to fit the needs of your iphone. This adapter fits snugly in the lighting port and the headphone jack is likewise secure.

Cons

Apple probably deserves blame as well, but if you are going to sell something that supports them, you need it to last. Get the cheaper ones. They're not at all flexible and a ridiculous 8” long!

Tried to run using this to connect my wired earbuds to my phone. I need wired headphones not bluetooth because bluetooth never get loud enough that i can hear the speaking over the tractor. Mm jack falls right out of the adapter.

Tried rebooting phone with adapter connected just to make sure. As headphones yes, mic no.
