Pros

Product is nice and will serve its purpose well. Used as chimney caps. The piling caps work great, are easy to install and will definitely help extend the life of our dock.


Cons

Issue is that they arrived pretty banged up with scuffs and scratches all over the surface. They were just shipped in a bag, no packaging and must be stored loosely in a warehouse. And this plastic is brittle - not flexible.

    Due to age and sun damage i needed to replace the cap on an outdoor mechanical device but due to its age the device is no longer being manufactured and the cost of replacement parts is ridiculous

    I found this line of products and after measuring the diameter of the existing cap and rounding up to the nearest halfinch found a product that fits over the top of the existing cap again shielding it from the elements but at a fraction of the cost of the replacement part

    I drilled two 316 holes 180 degrees apart through the lip of each cap and attached them to the posts with 10 screws

    I want to make sure the posts dont rot from the top and i had been looking for post caps but they were not the right size or they were very expensive
