With a bear in the neighborhood, i need to take my feeders in every night—this makes the chore relatively easy. We have a 9 pole for 4 birdfeeders to keep the squirrels off (it does work).

The attachment is also very solid and sturdy, so it doesn't bend or deformed under the weight of the strings. Worry a little about long term durability. Does not feel flimsy.

Cons

Appears sturdy but didn't thread correctly onto my extension pole. It seems like its cross threading.
