These are simple to install and are pre-programmed, so very easy to use. Our family room has no wall switches. These are numbered to correspond with the remote.

So our cabin was not wired very well and most of the lights get plugged in or have rotary switches in the wire

There is no place on the remote to label the button so you just have to remember which is for which

They cannot be plugged into side by side outlets they are too wide for thatso those of use with quad outlets can only use one per quad

Advice we purchased 3 packs should have let them know we already have 2 when adding a 3rd because it is on the same frequency

For christmas lights it didnt really matter but i do need a different frequency if i wanted to keep some on and some off 2 remotes are on the same so turn off 2 outlets at a time versus one
