The boot is actually very tall on my legs

I am 53 and have long legs for my height these boots come up over my knees

Also i noticed when i tried them on with my dress socks that my foot was sliding around in it which is why i would add a soft insole or wear thick boot socks

However the bottom of the soles have a nice grip on the bottom so you dont slide on floors

Description says knee high and thigh high and i think it depends on your height
