Jvc is known to be the kings of contrast and the dlax750r exceeded my expectations delivering images that really pop off the screen with a depth and realism ive not yet seen on a consumerlevel projector

I first put one of my favorites bronson on blu ray tom hardys insane performance just leapt of the 120 inch screen it was like peering through a very large window rather than a screen

In other scenes like in sideways where characters are talking over a table where a candle burns you can really feel the brightness of the candle independent of the image

The only rival near this price point is the sony 350s which will give you a 4k native image

Hdr is going to be standard on 4k uhd blu rays and is already available on some streaming services and for download

The sony line of 4k projectors have not yet had a model that can take the newly approved standard except for the 520s515s which has not been released stateside
