Pros

Kd-x270bt is a solid upgrade and replacement for the kd-250bt. Great value for money on a 2011 chevy traverse. Much better sound quality than my stock stereo on my base 2008 ford f250 xl. Loved having a remote on the small truck.

Bluetooth audio works great. Phone calls are crisp and clear. External mic makes phone calls a breeze. The fact that this unit is bluetooth compatible with 2 phones simultaneously while also provides mp3 playback on my flash drive is huge for me.

Sound is good and equalizer has quite a few options. Easy to navigate. Easy install. Installed in a 95 trans am other than a lot of wires.

I found this jvc for around $90.

1st try was a $35 j e n s e n radio which had lousy radio reception.

I just received my new jvc kd-270bt digital media receiver yesterday afternoon and installed it today.

Competitiveness

Radio reception was very good, 100 times better than the jensen unit i had tried.

The kd-270bt is significantly shallower depth-wise than the kd-250bt.
