Good, affordable option to keep your pet comfy during those higher temperature months. My dog absolutely loves her two gel pads, especially when it's hot & humid outside. It is the only cooling pad that works!
My newfie uses it all the time. Great to control ingredients. Highly recommend this product.
As soon as he sees his blue mat come out of the refrigerator, he is like a magnet to it. Louie loves his mat.
Cons
Terrible design. Not from the cap or the seams, but from the two round circular spots printed or embossed on the front. My coworker also has one of these only hers leaked along with not working. This item leaks everywhere.

Usually will stay on it for about 2 hours by which time his body heat has transferred over to the cooling mat

This is basically a couple of pieces of plastic seamed together with a thin sheet of opencell foam inside and an opening to add water
