Pros

We have an outdoor cat that sleeps in a catio. My stray male cat uses this inside a heated cat house. We live in midwest, the cat lives in unheated garage.

I wish it wasn't so hard because it would be more comfy. Bandit is pretty big, and i had meant to order the larger pad. I also like the protective wire that wraps around the cord.

She is an old girl and we wanted her to stay toasty for the winter! They keep her warm, thank gd, since she refuses to come into the house for more than 10 minutes. Her name is peachy!

Extreme weather pad is a literal life saver. Using it for my feral cat. Pretty good set up for a tiny feral kitten.

Cons

Be prepared, this item is not inexpensive to run 24/7.
