Pros

The two doors are great for skittish cats that want a quick exit. They love these heated houses. My only complaint is they are not waterproof.

Keeping them on a covered (not enclosed) porch most likely helps with longevity. Our outdoor cat loves it on cold or rainy days. Used two outside under my covered patio table for a couple feral last winter.

The heating pad keeps her warm and comfy. Some possum have come to join her and tend to take this at night, so getting another to ensure she's got a nice warm, comfy bed! The pad cover is machine wash and dry. The zipper is still in good condition.

Merlin absolutely loves it! An excellent, long-lasting quality product. Great product, but not suitable for an unsheltered area.

Cons

The k&h are luke warm at best and not fit to be used in colder winter conditions. The heat is barely detectable. Unless a cat is sitting on the pad, it never turn on.

I tested the pad the way i have always done with the others and the temp on it struggled to 80 degrees.

I know the product description says basically not to use it in direct rain but it was listed under feral cat houses which is a bit odd.
