Pros
Shih-tzu puppy loves this seat. Boston terrier loves it. Miniature pinscher with lots of room to spare.
The high sides also give my dog a sense of enclosure, which calms them. My frenchies now are boosted up enough to see out the windows without clawing my doors up. The large fits perfectly on my chevy suburban seats.
Car seat fits in both the back and front seat of my car. It easily seatbelts in. It has a section under the cushion that the seat buckle straps under. It also has two straps to securely strap the dog in the car.
It's a game-changer when it comes to safety, comfort, and convenience. It's easy to swap out into other cars. Pros pros pros here.
This is very sturdy and is dog approved. The sides are very sturdy. I use it for storing her puppy pads, which i use as liners to help keep the the car seat clean after bathroom breaks.
Cons
There is a very firm piece of styrofoam in the front of the seat but it is very low once you put the pillow piece in. The memory foam also isn't very dense.

This seat is easy to put together and install, is well made and cushy comfortable for a smaller dog.
Easy to install and tether works well.
This doesn't fit on top of the console of my car, which i admittedly did not measure prior to ordering.
The fabric is easily removable to be washed.
Price
For the price, this got the job done and i was happy he was buckled in and not sitting in my lap for an 9 hour car trip.
Worth every penny to secure my little friend comfortably.
I do think $100 is a lot for a chair that has foam inserts but i’m hoping it will be worth it in the long run.
The large does take up the full space of one seat but is so worth the space and cost.

I was outside the amazon return window, but the representative helped with resolving my issue and was very timely with their response.

He is much happier riding next to me on the console than in his old car seat in the second row of the vehicle

As you can see by the photo even though he’s a little too big for it it would be fine for short trips if he was going to just sit up and look out the window

Even at 14 pounds the length of it would be ok for him to lay down but the front lip is very high and thin so there’s nothing for him to rest his chin on

I’m probably going to return this and get a console car seat with a thicker front lip for him to lay his head on

If your dog is going to sit up or snuggle down with his head tucked in you might be ok with this one tho

So it might not have worked for our needs but it still seems like a good product if you’re looking for a carrierconsole seat
