It isn't comfortable for them to lay on flattened. Since then they ignore it - maybe because it is loud and crinkly sounding. It's not really deep enough to seem like a cozy hide.

This is the highest quality cat bed i have ever seen.
I have washed it once already and it was very easy and handled the wash well.
It is ultra plush but my “buddy”, will not even eat a treat off the very edge…shame
We put houses out, made comfy beds… no interest.

They immediately wanted to climb in from the moment it arrived.
