Pros

I check it regularly (when petting the cat) to make sure it’s not overheating. Great for older kitties with some aches and pains. Worked well with our aging cat.

It's reversible with a nice soft washable cover. My 21 year old cat enjoys the warmth from the pad, especially in the winter! The pad is soft and easy to clean.

Bought one then bought 2 more. Thanks from torti and from myself for a good product. It really has.

Cons

It works, but misleading advertisement. Very disapointed with this purchase. K&h needs to clearify that in the discription. This is so not what i expected.

In the medium sized bed the heater pad only fills about 1/2 the fleeced area. One width of the heating pad is the amount of space left on each end in the padding case.

The covers are washable and i think we have had them for 2 years and have had no issues at all.

It holds up really well and is easy to vacuum off.

It’s cut wider than the cover and creates difficulty in reinserting the foam and heat pad inside the cover after washing.

Not 5 minutes after i plugged the pad in she was stretched out napping away on it in pure heated bliss.

Price

Best $25 i have spent in a long time!

I would grab another one if they went on sale again.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging never states why this is, but i suspect it's to give your pet a safe place to lay down if the hot side gets too hot.

Competitiveness

It now rivals my lap for their favorite spot to lay down on!
