It is soft and a good warmth. You feel the heat more if you push down since you are compressing the foam. Softy is on it already.

It's nice that the fabric cover is washable, but getting the cover on and off is easier said than done. Works great though, so no complaints. It’s like if i could have an efficient led lightbulb on, no worries on electricity cost here.

My cats have zero interest in it. I’m sure this played a large role in my cat’s rejection of the product. Buy form a more reputable brand.

It smells downright awful, and even a run through the washing machine didn't change it. It still stinks!

This heating mat is maybe 5 degrees above ambient temperature after being plugged in for hours. Neither animal recognizes these as a warm place to lay. It isn't warmer than your skin.

the heating pad is much smaller than the outer pad, which is perplexing. This product is a narrow pad that only fills out about 1/3 of the pillow case. The replacement pad is being returned tomorrow.
