Leather handle gives better when wet, and cleans up nicely. Apply neats foot oil to handle occasionally. Only negative is the bottom of the handle is chrome plated and is starting to crackle.

Heirloom worthy. It comes with a nice holster. As long as i dont use it for chopping down trees or making stakes it should work well caping elk.

Small,compact, and holds a good edge. His was made in the 50s in boulder, co. photo of this knife hasty been corrected.

Cons

Skinning a deer wasnt great even with a brand new blade. Blade very think and clunky and just didnt perform well. Do not recommend at all.
