Pros & Cons
Pros
A close copy of the expensive german made puma sargent pattern. Everything is tight, no slop in the blade hinge and it's a good looking knife to boot. A bit bigger than your grandpa's knife, but really good quality.
Came really sharp, cleanly shears paper. With 420j it can be sharpened easily. I can still shave my arm with it after all this time.
Good weight, sharpens up well, ambidextrous thumb stud and reverse able pocket clip. It has a true clip point blade. Easy to deploy the blade with the duel thumb stud.
A little big and heavy for edc. He was impressed with sturdiness for the price. It's a little thinner and a little bit lighter.

Cons
If you work it very gingerly and center the edge, it still dulls quickly if you just look at it for too long. It’s really stiff and probably too heavy and slow to be my edc.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to deploy the blade with the duel thumb stud .
This china made ka-bar is very sharp that holds a sharp edge, good quality and well made for the price.
I think it is priced a bit low for the quality you get.
Nice and hefty, but not too hefty, so you can tell it's better quality.
Packaging/appearance
Sharp: this knife actually came out of the box very sharp.
Super sharp out of the box, looks great and has a good hefty feel to it.
The screws in the pocket clip are rather shallow and likely won't last forever.
It came out of the box ready to shave hair.
Competitiveness
It's a k-bar which is nostalgic for a former marine even though i never had one when i was active duty.
Nice length for some more heavy-duty tasks, but the drop point is perfect for finesse jobs like gutting fish.
Not a buck 110, but comes in a close second for about half the price.
It heavier than a buck 110 though the scales are a different material.
