Pros & Cons
Pros
The lock is strong, the handle material is lightweight, and the pocket clip is quality material. The jimping on the spine gives you a decent amount of control. I carry this everyday i work; i’m a maintenance engineer in the hospitality industry.
The dozier is a fine little knife. In digging the funky blue color. The importance of a nimble instrument is that it must compliment the grip.
The sharpness is excellent and it will cut most things. Sharpening is easy with my ruixin pro. Run it through a cheap ceramic sharpener every now and then to keep an edge.
It's lightweight like the bugout, has the rigidness and sturdiness off a buck 110. It’s lighter than expected and came sharp out of the box.
The fit and finish is perfect. Everything else is either great, or acceptable as part of this type of design.
Cons
It's really almost impossible to deploy the blade one handed. Blade often just flops out halfway when trying to flip it open. Still unable to deploy one single handedly.
The thumb assist stud is reversible but i have not tried loosening it. While the locking system works ok, it turns out that i'm not a fan of the lock back system the way it is situated on this particular piece.
The only nice thing about it is that it locks up well, very ergonomic, and probably one of the lightest knives i’ve ever owned. A cheap pocket knife from menards is a much better value.
Highlights
Quality
So far it carries well with the pocket.
Its got a great steel blade that stays sharp and is held open securely with the lock back mechanism.
It is pretty stiff opening with the thumb stud.
I think that cheapens the experience and it's a very lazy way to describe any product.
Price
I love this little thing and the price is so low its a steal.
They also make great gifts, people think they cost $50+ but it’s hardly $20.
Competitiveness
It is a great knife for it's very affordable price of around $20usd.
The thumb stud could use some knurling on top to assist in opening.
