Pros
The only issue i can see is the sheath is a little chintzy, but there are many fine aftermarket options. The only thing i can ding it for is the bulkiness of the retaining clip.
The knife itself seems awfully nice. A little pricey but well worth the money. It's sturdy, and one peice, could probably take a few.
Bk-11 razor sharp out of the box. Compact, proven blade shape, and for me about the biggest thing practical to edc. Great for edc sized knife.
It's small and lightweight enough to wear around the neck and it's also beefy enough to worn on the hip on a belt. It's a skeletonized knife so ergonomics are not great but that's an easy fix. Very comfortable in the hand ka bar quality all the way.
It is quite effective at everything else i could test it on such as chopping and cutting. It handles batoning tasks great, as long as your reasonable and don't try to do anything * like baton knotted wood, or baton ridiculous logs. It is easily remova... Read More

Kabar quality steel and production meets ethan becker's great design.
Seems like a good quality knife but a bit longer than i expected.
Not much else to say here that hasn't been said, except whichever one i bought came with the micarta handle and belt clip.
Even with the clasp closed it’s managed to wiggle itself free.
Packaging/appearance
Super light and sharp right out of the box.
Good neck knife; sharp out of the box.
But it's not necessary to have a servicable knife out of the box.
Competitiveness
I purchased a kydex sheath to replace the sheath that comes with the knife but it has not arrived at this time.
The kydex sheaths i ordered are wonderful and do not dull the blade.
So with $30 or so worth of scales, an extra $25-50 worth of kydex sheath, $10-12 tec-loc or g-clip, and it will be a dandy.
I did order micarta handles for the two becker neckers and two kydex sheaths for each.

The issue is the sheath it really doesn’t hold the blade all that well and the lock the put on it is cumbersome as best

Shaving sharp out of the boxmuch more common in 2021 but still by no means universal
