The practicality and functionality of this knife are tremendous. I find myself tempted to get another for backup to keep in my packjust in case.

It is not cumbersome at all on the hip or just slipped into a pocket. I wish the handle was a 1/2 inch longer so i could get a solid 4 finger grip, but am satisfied with getting almost 4 fingers on the grip.

New traction coating is not my favorite but sand it down with fine sand paper helios a lot. Great edc knife and back-up to your main woods blade. My favorite edc fixed blade.

Cons

Ka-bar makes good blades then disappoints with sub par sheaths. Apparently the material the sheath is made of is too abrasive. Im returning this blade for a refund.

I consider them to be an excellent deal for the price.

They’re not hard to find and even basic ones without all the bells and whistles are pretty inexpensive and well worth it.

For the price you honestly won’t find anything better.

Hell, for twice the price you won’t find anything better.

Update: becker sent me a new sheath and it works as intended.

Packaging/appearance

It was well packed, it's just as described, this is a really nice.

It came with 8 feet or so of black paracord that i assumed was for wrapping the handle.

Competitiveness

The morakniv bushcraft black is its only competition in the price range.

I may buy the esee izula that this is based on in the future for comparison's sake, but this is a great knife.

Photos include a photo of both sides of the knife and a comparison shot with my izula 2.

Therefore the bk14 becker is indeed a collaboration between the two companies.
