The combat kukri delivers it to you on a silver platter. Carried inverted. My ontario, at 1/4 in.

A kukri is really a multi-purpose tool. This versatility allows you a very wide variety of tasks. This knife is just that, a badass knife.

It is used for fine work such as whittling or slicing thinly. Grip is great when chopping.

The 1095 cro-van steel holds a good edge while providing a good resistance to chipping and dings. The steel is good, sharpens very easily and holds agood edge.

Cons

Unbalanced design makes it swing upside down when worn on a belt so it flips and falls out of the sheath. Same applies to the knife holder that smelled bad (like sweat). Birthday surprise present is ruined just like my mood.

Shipping

Unfortunately, the paper sheath it's shipped in was sliced by the knife so i won't be able to store it in the paper as suggested.

Oh ya - got it the day after it shipped!

The blade arrived in a nicely labeled box, but inside, the paper packaging sheath is not on the blade, nor is the black holster sheath.
