Pros
Great knife and great service from the dealer. Great quality, great construction, and just an all around excellent all purpose knife. Got this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. Well made, has a great history.
Kydex black sheath that came with this knife fits it perfectly. Design securely locks the knife in place and offers numerous locations for tying the sheath to your leg or rucksack.
The ka bar knife is flawless. It arrived with the usual ka-bar blade sharpness.
He is a marine and saying he lived it was an understatement. This knife is a marine's best friend- one that will keep stabbing no matter how many mortars they call in. It is good, and i am satisfied, but it is not as i remember from viet nam.
Cons
Boxes were half opened and scuffed up. Company needs to do a better job of quality control for our fighting men and women in the armed services and take more pride in their workmanship.

Knife arrived exactly as advertised and in new packaging.
Razor sharp right out of the box.
It totally ruined the otherwise fine ka bar factory packaging.

I chopped into some hardwood trees and the knife only went from shave your arm sharp to chef knife sharp

If you plan on using this in water the leather handle will fade and id recommend the synthetic handle
