Pros & Cons
Pros
The grip has a tacky texture, but is not too rough to the point of developing hot spots or blisters. The handle circumference fits my medium-sized hands well, and allows multiple grip options. The thickness is perfect imho.
Sharp as a razor out of the box, this blade is high quality. Could have been sharper. If you like extremely sharp you will have to sharpen it some.
I'm a survivalist and this knife is the best. It looks b@d@ss with it's unique looks. Very satisfied with my purchase.
The spine is completely straight, putting the point in line with the hilt. This blade shape allows for smooth slashing and stabbing.
Highlights
Quality
Very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality duty knife.
The feel of the rubberized grip is nice, and easy to control.
The knife slide right into the hog like a hot knife through butter.
It has legendary ka-bar sharp edge, and the point is wicked sharp.
Price
It is great knife for a high production low cost civilian knife.
Well worth the money really sharp and fits good in the hand
Ka-bar makes nice knives, but they seem to be a little over priced just because of the name.
It's way too much on the ka-bar website but this one has a nice price cut without a cut in quality.
Shipping
Knife arrived early, well packaged and in perfect condition.
Packaging/appearance
Package was not sealed as others i purchased.

Even with its 834 long blade the balance point is about a halfinch behind the guard rather than in front of it unlike my italian m39 fighting knife with the same blade length

The rest of my knives that have balance points behind their guards are very narrow needlelike stiletto blades that measure 734 max think fairbairnsykes v42
