Pros & Cons
Pros
This backpack is so awesome. The quality is top-notch. It has the quality and usefulness of a much higher price-tagged backpack.
This backpack is lightweight but not flimsy. It's comfortable, well-ventilated, and well-constructed. Its light, and the venting on the part that rests on your back is great.
The padded shoulder straps adjust in a couple of different ways to make the backpack fit snuggly to your torso. I really love how adjustable every strap is to be able to snugly secure it to where it won't be bouncing around or chafing at all. The shou... Read More
Stitching is even and strong along the ripstop nylon with no obvious gaps or loose threads about. It’s actually a shade darker than the depiction in the kailas pictures in the listing and is a very attractive color. The rear zippers are a little stiff... Read More
Main compartment has a slip pocket and tether for a hydration bladder plus a hose port. In the front there’s a zippered compartment that has a laptop pocket. The water bladder pouch is nice, but i wish it had a slot to snake the water hose through.
Cons
It is somewhat long but the fact that the it's compact doesn't give way to put much in it.

I really love the quality, color and design of backpack.
However, the backpack's quality and added features do justify the cost to some extent.
Quality seems good enough for scout campouts/state parks - if you're looking for expedition-quality gear, you're not shopping a... Read More
Price
Great value backpack for the entry level price.
There is a padded waste belt but like with other lower cost packs, it doesn't help much if the carry weight is too heavy.
Sure brands like ospreys have more comfortable pack but they are 2-3 times the price.
Packaging/appearance
All the pockets are well-thought out, and the pack feels comfortable.
The hip belt pockets are actually big enough for a phone and long enough to be easily reachable when wearing the pack.
I should’ve closely read the size of the pack.
It’s impossible to get the bottle in the side pocket while i’m wearing the pack.
Competitiveness
Overall, this is a high-quality bag for the price, and i will be using it frequently on longer single-day hikes.
Hands down the best daypack available right now from someone who's been trying all of them.
Construction feedback: the side pockets barely fit my 32oz nalgene bottles.
I prefer to have a removeable waist belt for times when the load is light or i'm not going that far.
