Id rather have one thats just smooth so the whole area is usable however i want and if i need a place to keep spools or whatever i can do that some other way

Comes with 6 flexible arms with alligator clip with covering on the jaws 2 long and 4 medium size

The base has 11 holes 3 on two sides and 5 on the back side or front depending on how you arrange the tray

I tested by loading a motherboard and i think the size of the tray really adds to the stability but i didnt apply pressure on the board but i think i can always adjust the mounts etc

The clamps have rubber jaw covers to prevent scratching your work piece
