Pros

Brings in the b vitamins. We like that it is unfortified with synthetic vitamins. This also dissolves better than i'm used to.

This yeast tastes great. It has a mild, slightly cheesy flavor, with no bitterness. There is no other nutritional yeast that should be in your cabinet.

Cons

Not clear if this product is gluten free or why i received a product half this size. Hate to kiss em off but am super upset with the 100% reduction in quantity over the past three years. My popcorn just isn't the same without the yummy dark yeast powd... Read More

In the future, i will try to find this yeast at a local health food store to avoid the plastic packaging.

Since the canister is sealed and includes a plastic cover, the added plastic bag seems excessive.
