Cons

The rod when assembled sags in the middle. The brackets have the tiniest of screws to hold them together, no nuts or bolts only a screw. Had to find different larger screws and a bolt to keep it together.

It's too late to return these. Had to improvise - no time to change.

There is no way to screw the balls to the end of the slimmer extender rod. It's also impossible to tell how far in or out the smaller rod is inserted.
