The decorative ends are almost the same diameter as the rod itself, so unless you have pocket curtains, they'll just come off. Turns out this is multiple short pieces that you screw together so there is no real adjustment.

If there is much stress at all applied to them when trying to tap into the wall they simply bend making them unusable

Odd thing is i ordered 4 other curtain rods of the same brand that did have much better wall anchors that were not all used

My large size window only has about 4 inches to work with on one side
