As i did as soon as the weight of the curtains got onto the rod the rod started to bend down from where it goes into the mounting end

I first mounted the center support then i slid the left side through the middle with the curtain already on the left side bar and screwed that in

So the curtains need to be put onto the rod during assembly not after
