Pros & Cons
Pros
These are light, expertly crafted, and extremely sharp. They are extremely well balanced and honed.
These knifes are excellent. The knives are great. They are absolutely amazing.
Regular steel melts @ 2800 degrees, there honshu steel blades are in a class all of there own! I understand that some people are not familiar with japanese knives that have an edge on one side of the blade.
It's traditional, and takes a bit of adjustment, but once you use them and see how well they cut, you will be a believer! The precision in cutting is what we like the most. Crisp and clean cut.
Cons
Other downside is, it's only for right handed people due to the single bevel and shape of the handle. Cheaper set is so much nicer than these. The belly of the santoku has a lump in it, and the handle of the paring knife is blemished.
It's sad to see people fooled by their ploy but continue to support their purchase because they don't want to admit they've been scammed. I got suckered in by their facebook ad. Lol total sham of a company.

Packaging/appearance
The packaging was amazing they are extremely sharp!
The set presents beautifully in a wooden box that is also used to store the knives and protect the blades.
Competitiveness
Its fun to collect different styles and brands, and there are many companies that offer interesting sets.
Yes, it is a bit misleading to market these as japanese, but lots of things are designed in other countries and then manufactured in china.

The quality control on your knives is horrible i got two sets of santoku knives with two totally different finishes it seems to me that one was finished in a hurry and not deburred properly or it wasnt finished at all very sharp due to jagged edge and the other one highly polished but not sharpened whatsoever
