Improvement i note the unit turns off when folding the light closed so no longer possible to run the batteries down by closing with the light on or pressing the onoff button when closed

Also with the light mounted at the top the light level is a bit dim by the time it gets to the bottom of the screen but unlike one other review i read it can be mounted on the side if youre careful this results in a more even illumination across the screen on my kindle touch and does not shine the light or its reflections into my wifes eyes

I took off one star would have only taken a half if i could because it could use a little more tension on the clamp

By that i mean that it does everything i want but it doesnt light the whole screen evenly

All this despite using it regularly pretty much keeping it permanently clipped to my kindle unless a toddler has pulled it off and dropped it somewhere
