First this needs to be powered that means it will need the hot black neutral white and ground usually bare coppergreen

Second once youve hooked everything up you have to shove all of the wiring back into the electrical box and then screw the switch back in

The depth of this switch may be more than the switch that was there

You may have to play with the wires quite a bit in order to shove them in deep enough for the switch to be screwed down all the way
