The gray isn't drab and the texture gives it a richer look. I read a lot so a bookmark was a nice touch. Now the next test is our border collie.
Size is perfect for a twin bed or to use while sitting reading or watching tv in the evening.

This insert fills it out perfect and keeps it so luxurious looking. Runs tts, fit inside my cover perfectly, and has the tabs to secure the cover to the insert.
Cons
It’s insanely thin, especially in the middle. Basically just 2 layers of fabric. Only redeeming quality is it is soft.

Many times what my wife and i have found is that when you wash sheets or comforters, the quality tends to show immediately.

Once out of the dryer i brought it upstairs and shook it out to bring out the fluffiness of the comforter.
I really appreciated how the comforter was large enough to cover the front and sides of the bed, hiding the sheets underneath.

I did what other reviewers said and washed it and dried it in my front loading washer but it didn’t affect the loft

It casts blue grey when it’s alone but if you put something true navy next to it the color looks dark grey

When it arrives its vacuumpacked and is so small and seemingly light that your first impression is that its not a very nice comforter

On my queen bed the edges of the comforter hang over approximately one square in the pattern just covering the sides of the mattress but nothing below it

Im just mildly disappointed in the actual size based on the photo so i dont feel i can give it the full 5 stars maybe this wont matter to you
