The one i received does not have alignment guides which would be helpful, but the overall quality is better than i expected.
I was very impressed by the quality of the rod received.
I purchased this rod with the sharky iii reel.
I've yet to go fishing with the rod, but the unboxing quality impression so far is positive.

Regardless, at such a great price i really have no complaints and will be using it a lot.

Just unboxed came secure as all kastking products fully extend feels strong with good rigidity.
I have always been skeptical of telescopic rods so i did some research and decided to order from kastking.
I also ordered a baitcast reel to go with it.
Great product for someone who wants to keep a baitcasting rod in their car, backpack or travel purposes.

And those floating guides are not perpendicular to the rod but you risk breaking the eye if you try to bend them

But overall it is a nice rod and i’ll take the floating guides with it being slightly misspaced and crooked over no extra guides like the majority of telescopic rods that are sold on amazon

The rod is holding up good i notice there was on the bottom of the rod what looks like the joint was laid on on something while still wet i dont know of that will effect anything

Completely collapsed it is about 19 inches long

The last time we traveled out of the country i had to leave my rod as i couldn’t hand carry it and had to put it in as baggage
