The valiant rod from kastking is a great choice for bass anglers. The reel is also a good match for the cast king black hawk 2. The rod is made in the usa and is made by kastking. Kast king is a well-known brand in the fishing world.

Takes a bit to get set up but the portability overrides that issue. Worked great for fishing behind the house. Handy-pak landing net that worked great!

Kastking collapsible pole is very poor quality. Don't buy. The warranty is absolutely worthless, half purchase price plus $20, which is to close to purchase price. This ain't it for me, proceed with caution.
