This reel is lightweight and looks good. It feels nice in the hand, is lightweight, and looks to be a long lasting reel for me since i also use spinning gear and the occasional fly rod.

The drag is strong and smooth. The spool tension knob has easy, audible click adjustments for fine tuning the reel. When adjusted there has been few back lash issues.

The ten button magnetic braking system provides effortless casts. The magnetic brake works well with heavier lures. Braking action seems very strong.

It's cheap enough that i'm not worried about it getting dropped (hopefully not off the boat), or dinged up. And when you consider the price, it is an exceptional value. A great addition to my arsenal.

Cons

While the kastking brutus baitcasting fishing reel may work well for some, my personal experience leaves much to be desired. This reel is complete trash.
