Pros

The 3000 is not too big and quite light. Its a good priced reel. Solid reel, smooth, doesn't slip, the price point is outstanding.

It's better than i was expecting at such a great price. Looking forward to using this as my primary rig. Definitely would recommend it.

Kastking brutus 4000 reel is lightweight, but it handles 20-pound test line easily. I use it mostly for saltwater fishing even though the description says it's a freshwater reel. Bought it to use for catfishing.

Cons

Even if it were still under warranty i would have to pay $15 and ship the unit to them which would cost about $25 on my side so essentially there really is no warranty. Returned cheap junk. Luckily the gears locked within my return window.

The ration is 5:1 so every 5-6 turns, the top of the handle contacts the bail and makes a clunk noise. Spinning the reel to close the bail was incredibly stiff. Worked with it and oiled until it was somewhat functional.
