Pros

I rave on here about kastking and they have currently been taking over my arsenal alongside abu garcia. And the spool holds plenty of line. For an inexpensive reel it's super nice, smooth and quiet.

Works well after 10 fishing excursions. It casts well using 15lb mono, and seems to have held up.

Not a speck of rust to be found. Bought it to use for catfishing. Tried it out for fishing lakes on my kayak.

The only way to make it better is a better rod. Comes with instructions on how to take care for longer life of reel.

Cons

Spinning the reel to close the bail was incredibly stiff. But the handle clicks against the bail every few turns. It's a 20 dollar reel and you get what you paid for.

Even if it were still under warranty i would have to pay $15 and ship the unit to them which would cost about $25 on my side so essentially there really is no warranty. Luckily the gears locked within my return window.
