Pros

Kastking customer service was excellent on fulfilling the warranty. It's not my primary rod but i find myself reaching for it often after jamming up or breaking off my more expensive stuff. Great combo for the price.

The visuals with the white reel and accents & matte finish rod are on point. Very sensitive when paired with braid. Really nice setup for lightweight soft plastics.

Cons

Poorly made setup and out 100 bucks. I know it's a budget setup, but i expected more. Very disappointing to find out kastking products are fragile.

The real sits too close to the rod so when you go to cast your hand knocks the bail and flips it closed. Every 3 or 4 casts its birds nests on me. Then, with a fish on the line the tip of the pole snaps off.

I spent a lot of time researching the best budget baitcast combo and i ended up going with this.

I have it rigged up with 15lb.

I am an avid/experienced fisherman but never really fished for bass or with a baitcaster.
