Pros

Reel itself is very light and durable. Very sensitive when paired with braid. Visuals with the white reel and accents & matte finish rod are on point.

Kastking shipped the rod in a sturdy tube inside a large box. Slammed 6 large mouth during stops while traveling at work, scored a decent 3. Tied a nut to it and casted at my work in our back lot.

Great combo for the price. Won't brake the bank and well made. Kastking customer service was excellent on fulfilling the warranty.

Cons

Every 3 or 4 casts its birds nests on me. The real sits too close to the rod so when you go to cast your hand knocks the bail and flips it closed.

I know it's a budget setup, but i expected more. Poorly made setup and out 100 bucks. Was refunded fast. Not worth it, get something better.

I spent a lot of time researching the best budget baitcast combo and i ended up going with this.

I have it rigged up with 15lb.

I am an avid/experienced fisherman but never really fished for bass or with a baitcaster.
