Pros
Kastking seems to be a mid tier brand and you almost always get maximum bang for the buck. It's definitely not a top tier rod, but at it's price point, i think it's an excellent deal. Definitely the best bang for your buck.
The rubber is not as nice as the premium cork rods, but i actually prefer it over the foam style grips. The guides and reel seat look great. This rod is just what i feel i've been lacking in a better balanced rig.
I am blown away on how this rod was packaged and delivered. They definitely know how to package a fishing rod for shipping.
Cons
The baitcast reel is junk, failed after about 10 hours fishing. With 10 pound mono on the reel, i got hung on some brush in 20ft of water. Tried to lift a 12” trout out of the water and snapped the the top to feet of the pole.
The last one seemed a little sloppy. There are a ton of reviews about how these rods have no durability. As some other people have posted, the tips of these rods are actually brittle because they are so thin and rather stiff.

Very nice rod for the $$, light, sensitivity good too, i think it will make a good springtime detroit river jigging rod.
I didn't wanna buy anything too expensive that i was rarely gongs to use, so i had low expectations.
No, but for this price range it is a really nice rod.
For a fisherman on a budget i can not recommend the kastking crixus more strongly.

If not exactly the one i won’t for the job, i return and the other one i’ll order is here usually in 2 days free shipping.
The way they ship the product is amazing as well.

I like this rod better than the prodigy rod that is higher priced.
